Frangipani on Friday is a good mix of this, that and a lot of the other. Over the years, there have been some decent Fridays. And a few painful ones.
After about 4 months of not really knowing what the heck I was avoiding, I finally popped into what used to be my regular watering hole (that sounds dirty, I know).
And sure enough, one of the pseudo reasons why I stopped going out was there. Despite my initial hesitation, I breathed and said hi, did the usual chit-chat and when the exchange was over, I didn't blanch, I wasn't bitter and I was OK.
Way less drama that I thought it was gonna be.
